Minister for Agriculture Joe Walsh is expected to announce that most foot-and-mouth trade restrictions in the Republic are to be lifted.

Certificate requirements for the export of all animal products from the Republic are expected to be lifted as part of his announcement, which will be made in Ballymascanlon, County Louth this afternoon.
