Thousands of dedicated Munster fans were left disappointed today when only a limited number of tickets went on public sale for next Sunday's European Cup quarter-final clash with Biarritz.
The game at Thomond Park will attract a sell-out crowd of 13,000, but all public sale tickets have now been snapped up and are only available through Munster clubs.
Biarritz supporters were allocated an estimated 3,000 tickets. Thousands of Irish supporters had queued overnight for tickets, and most had to be turned away.
Munster are the only Irish team remaining in the competition and will be seeking to go one better than last year, when they lost the final to English champions Northampton.
