Grainne Seoige plans not one wedding, but two

Grainne Seoige is planning two wedding bashes when she marries Leon Jordaan next year.

The Irish beauty will be walking down the aisle with Leon Jordaan in 2015, making it one of the Irish showbiz weddings of the year.

Grainne, 40, has decided to have nuptials in both her rugby coach fiancee’s native South Africa and here in Ireland making sure that friends and family in both countries are able to participate in their big day.

A close friend of the couple told Goss.ie that the wedding plans have already been set in stone – but no invitations have been sent out.

“She’s decided she’s going to have a ceremony here and in South Africa,” the pal said.

It comes after the Gaeilgeoir shocked the Irish showbiz world by announcing she was secretly engaged to Durban-born Leon earlier this year. The couple met while Grainne was filming a rugby segment for ‘Grainne’s Modern Life’ in 2011 and late last year, Leon returned to his native South Africa specially to pick up the engagement ring.

Speaking at the time, Grainne said that her fiance “understands a west of Ireland girl like me”.

“He understands what makes me tick. He gets me. What I love about him is his sense of kindness and fun,” she added.

“He also has a strong sense of what’s fair and what’s right. And we’re obviously incredibly happy together.”

This will be Grainne’s second marriage, she was married to former TV3 colleague Stephen Cullinane for eight years and divorced in June 2010 and has one son from that relationship.

Two weddings? If you can, why not!?

Congratulations Grainne

We cannot wait to see the pictures!
