I'll marry gay friends, says Lisa Tarbuck

Funny girl Liza Tarbuck plans to get hitched to two gay friends if she is not married in the next three years, she disclosed today.

The star of BBC1’s hit comedy Linda Green said she had pact with the pair that if she was not married by 40 “...they have to throw caution to the wind and tie the knot with me”.

The 37-year-old daughter of comedian Jimmy Tarbuck also confessed to her biggest turn on – men in cotton underpants.

She told The People magazine: “I love their bums. I also love the back of a man’s neck. I like guts in a man, too, and I like humour.”

With the new series in the life of sassy club singer Linda Green due to start on Tuesday, the actress said she was happier doing sex scenes than singing.

“I felt much more self-conscious shooting the scenes where Linda’s singing. It was a very vulnerable feeling,” she said.

Liza said her ideal men were “ugly-handsome” like Frenchmen Jean Reno and Gerard Depardieu.

She also said she once dated three men at once, adding: “I lied to every one of the boys because I couldn’t let them know I was going out with someone else. It got horrible.”
