Tubs is on the move.

Ryan Tubridy is moving back to RTÉ Radio One from 2FM to fill the slot left vacant by John Murray's retirement.

The Late Late Show presenter originally left Radio One in 2010 following the death of Gerry Ryan, but it has been confirmed today that he will return to his old slot of 9am to 10am, Monday to Friday.

The news comes after John Murray announced he was leaving the slot last month and Brendan O’Connor filled in as his replacement.

Over at 2FM, rumours have it that Breakfast Republic will now be extended by an hour and Nicky Byrne will take to the air from 10am.

But where will we get our ‘No Homework Cert’ and signed lunchbox now?
