Ireland's Jason Smyth has won European gold.

The Paralymic gold medallist has won the men's T-12 100 metres at the European Paralympic Championships in Swansea this afternoon.

Smyth cruised to a comfortable victory in a winning time of 10.78 seconds.

Meanwhile, Heather Jameson finished in 8th place in the T-37 100 metres final, while John McCarthy goes in the T-51 Men's 400m Final at 7.20pm.
