Balotelli posts Beatles tribute poster showing him as all four band members

Liverpool’s latest signing, controversial Italian Mario Balotelli posted some pretty strange pictures to his Instagram account to try and win over Reds' fans.

His early posts were fairly standard, he posted a picture of himself with a Liverpool flag and then this one with his new teammates.

But Balotelli doesn’t have a reputation for eccentricity for nothing.

Yesterday he posted this picture showing his face with a Liver bird superimposed across it.

Slightly extreme, but it got 141,000 likes on Instagram so clearly the striker knows how to please a crowd.

Things got even weirder last night when Balotelli put up a picture presumably intended to be some sort of homage to Liverpool’s most famous band.

Taking a classic Beatles poster, his face has been photoshopped over each band member’s face and the name of the band changed to the Balotellis.

We are really struggling to understand the reasoning behind this one.

Safe to say Mario is about to bring all Liverpool fans on a Magical Mystery Tour.

Sorry…
