Farmer accuses goat-riding monkey of stealing produce

A Chinese farmer claims a monkey riding a goat keeps coming onto his land and stealing his vegetables.

Ye Shu, of Donguan, Guangdong Province, claims the monkey stands on the goat's back to see if the coast is clear before entering the property and sneakily consuming some produce.

The farmer suspects the pair are part of a neighbouring circus, which has apologised on behalf of the misbehaving animals.

Ye explained: "This has been going on for two weeks since the acrobatic troupe was first stationed here."
