A town in Minnesota has been evacuated after a freight train collided with a truck, causing it to catch fire.

Around 230 people were relocated from Callaway last night as a precaution.

Two people on the train were injured when several carriages derailed.

Seven empty train cars were derailed along with one locomotive.

A tanker with 10,000 gallons of propane caught fire and is being left to burn out on the tracks while fire crews are working to keep it cool and avoid an explosion.

An investigation has started to find out why the truck was on the track.
