The event will also hear from Jason Ward, EMEA North Vice-President and Managing Director of Dell Technologies Ireland, on the key opportunities and challenges facing Irish businesses as they embrace the power of AI and other emerging technologies.

With many organisations struggling to keep pace with rapid advances in AI and related innovation, Forum speakers will analyse the findings of Dell’s Innovation Catalyst Study 2024. Profiling over 100 organisations across Ireland, this research analyses the current state of AI adoption across every sector of the economy and how the technology is being used to enhance growth.

Findings from the Innovation Catalyst Study show that while most businesses in Ireland (71 per cent) believe they are well positioned to harness the power of AI, the extent to which organisations are prepared for the rapid pace of change varies greatly. Nearly half of organisations (49 per cent) report struggling to keep pace with advancements in GenAI and other technologies.

Lack of the right talent (43 per cent), lack of budget (33 per cent) and an outdated technology environment (32 per cent) are all highlighted as key challenges facing decision makers as they advance AI-related innovation.
