Alannah Pardy, founder of Recaptureone.ie was just five years old when her auntie passed away with cancer.
Yet, when her family stands at her auntie's grave they can still hear her beloved auntie’s voice, see her smile and relive all the precious memories they once had with her when she was alive.
Surviving with a lifelong grief that many others can relate to, Alannah developed a memory plaque to tell her auntie’s story for generations of family members and friends to watch and enjoy. It helps family and friends celebrate their lost loved ones’ life story rather than focus on the grief.

The main reason Alannah developed the first Recaptureone.ie plaque was to educate her brother and sister on her auntie’s life.
Unfortunately, Alannah’s auntie passed away with cancer before they were born, but Alannah wanted them to know the aunt that she loved, about her radiant personality and be able to hear her voice and see her smile.
Earning a degree in Digital Media and Marketing from South East Technological University in Waterford, Alannah began to put her skills to good use and create memorial videos that tell lost loved ones’ life stories.
After launching the business in 2022, she began to see the benefits and comfort that her product was bringing to so many families across Ireland. The videos can vary from baby pictures to their last memories on this earth or random precious moments that they spent with their family.
