In an update to employees, Aer Lingus said hours and pay would be restored based on the assumption that Ireland would join the EU Commission's proposed travel plans in October, according to RTÉ.
The airline, which cut hours by up to 70 per cent earlier this year said: "Aer Lingus has advised employees in Ground Operations and Cabin Crew that pay levels will be increased from the end of the month."
However, staff based in Shannon will have longer to wait for their pay to be restored.
Shannon Grounds Operations staff are currently out of work, but will see their hours restored to 40 per cent, while Cabin Crew staff will be given the same increase.
A winter leave programme will be made available to both Ground Operations and Cabin Crew staff in the western airport.
Meanwhile in Cork and Dublin, Ground Operations and Cabin Crew staff who are now working 30 per cent of their normal hours will see an increase to 50 per cent.
The airline also announced that a Voluntary Severance Scheme and Incentivised Career Break Scheme will be available to all Cabin Crew staff.
Aer Lingus have said it hopes to increase hours again towards the end 2020, but such action will be dependent on demand and any further implications of Covid-19.
