Adele has said she is “truly touched by the genuine outpouring of love and good will” she felt “from every single person” who came to see her during her Munich residency.
The singer, 36, signed off her final show in the German city on Saturday by saying that she will not see her fans for a “long time”.
The Someone Like You singer became emotional as she said goodbye to the purpose-built outdoor arena where she began performing a series of shows on August 2nd.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, she said: “Wow! Wow! Wow! Munich you were incredible!
“What a phenomenal experience.
“I am truly touched by the genuine outpouring of love and good will I felt from every single person who came to every single show.
“It was the best vibes all round. I’ve never seen anything like these shows it was truly spectacular, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to do them.
“I hope those of you who came had the best time at ‘Adele World’.
“I had the time of my life adding all the personal and immersive touches to it.
“I’m overwhelmingly proud of my entire team and teammates.
“Thank you as always for making me look so f****** good.
“There truly is no feeling like standing in front of people you’ve never met, belting out a bunch of songs that changed your life that in ways somehow changed theirs too. ”
The singer’s post included a video montage of her shows, some clips showing fans arriving at the event and others of her singing to the crowd.
“It’s truly remarkable and an extraordinary story to be able to tell,” she said.
“I’ve been sobbing watching this beautiful video! Danke Munchen!”
During the Munich shows, she confirmed her engagement to American sports agent Rich Paul, whom she has been dating for several years, and showed off her engagement ring.
Adele, who released the album 30 in November 2021, will conclude her Las Vegas residency shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November this year.
