Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield has reached out to one of the stars of last night's Late Late Toy show Adam King, offering him the chance to talk about space together.
The six-year-old from Cork is a self-professed space nut and last night he told host Ryan Tubridy about what his dream job would be.
As the host simulated a rocket launch in his space shuttle cut out, Adam counted down to liftoff. Once Ryan got back down to earth he asked him about what he would like to do in the future.
Adam explained that because he has Brittle Bones he is not able to become an astronaut, but instead he wants to become a “Capsule Communicator” also called a CAPCOM.
As he explained, their job is to communicate directly with the crew on a space flight.
It is fair to say that Twitter fell in love with the young Cork boy and one of the clips from the show went viral.
World renowned Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield reached out to young Adam. Speaking on Twitter he said: "I’ve been lucky enough to CAPCOM many spaceflights. We should talk space together. Take care, be good - Chris."

Hey Adam - Loved seeing you on the #LateLateToyShow. I'm retired from @NASA but I have some friends that are Capcoms, like @Astro_Jessica, and I'll bet they would love for you to achieve your dreams and talk to astronauts from the ground when you grow up, like they do! Adam has been in and out of Temple Street Children's Hospital because of his condition, and he has made an impact on the staff there.
One of those people is hospital porter John Doyle who made an appearance on the show last night and spoke about how much everyone loves him in the hospital because of his positivity.
