Denise Chaila has won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Album of the Year with her debut album 'Go Bravely'.
The Zambian-Irish rapper and singer from Limerick, released her first EP in 2019 before releasing her debut album last year.
She joins former winners and fellow Limerick natives Rusangano Family who won the award back in 2016. Other previous winners include the likes of Villagers and The Gloaming.

The winner was announced by RTÉ during a special livestream, with performances from artists who were nominated for the Choice Music Prize.
It included performances from Denise Chaila herself, Ailbhe Reddy, JyellowL and Fontaines D.C. plus many more, to cap off another great year for Irish music.
The event was hosted by RTÉ 2fm DJ Tracy Clifford and was broadcast on RTÉ player as well as on RTÉ 2fm.
Niall Horan also won Song of the Year for his track 'No Judgement' which was voted for by the fans.
