Chris O'Dowd, Emma Corrin and Peter Capaldi are among the cast members of Black Mirror series seven, Netflix has announced.
In March, it was confirmed the popular TV series, created by Charlie Brooker, would return for another season with six episodes, including a sequel to season four’s sci-fi adventure USS Callister.
On Thursday, the official X page for Black Mirror posted a video that displayed a computer error followed by a list of names, mixed with random sentences.

In the clip, the first message that appears on screen says: “Black Mirror. An error has occurred. To continue press enter to continue installation or press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart your computer.”
“If you do this, you will lose a any unsave information in all open applications.
“Press any key to continue.”
After the system reboots, a list of names appears on the screen in alphabetical order.
Included in the list is Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina, How I Met Your Mother actress Cristin Milioti, Irish actor Chris O’Dowd, Succession’s Dame Harriet Walter and Barbie star Issa Rae.
Other cast members include The Holdovers actor Paul Giamatti, Parks And Recreation actress Rashida Jones, and American Fiction’s Tracee Ellis Ross, as well as Doctor Who star Capaldi and The Crown actor Corrin.
In between the names appear phrases and sentences including “Too soon?”, “Lonely old place isn’t it”, “A rose for a rose”, “oh dear – is the entire internet wrong?”, “who drank my almond milk?”, “hardly in the spirit of the game” and “I’ll be yours forever more”.
Brooker’s name also appears on screen, alongside the names of the series executive producers – Jessica Rhoades, Annabel Jones and Bisha K Ali.
At the end of the clip, the words “exit game” appear on the screen, followed by the words “coming 2025”.
Famous faces including Salma Hayek, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Rob Delaney, Michael Cera, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett and Zazie Beetz appeared in Black Mirror season six.
Previous series have also seen starring roles from Mad Men actor Jon Hamm, Jurassic World actress Bryce Dallas Howard, pop star Miley Cyrus and Black Panther star Letitia Wright.
Series seven is currently filming and will be returning to Netflix in 2025.
The streaming platform has said additional information about specific episodes and characters is under wraps.
