Annie Macmanus is set to front a new flagship weekly music podcast from the BBC with radio presenter Nick Grimshaw.
The Dublin-born DJ and broadcaster, known by her stage name Annie Mac, will explore the music stories that are getting people talking with fellow DJ Grimshaw (39).
Speaking about the new podcast, Macmanus (45) said: “I’m dead excited to be working with Grim again.
I'm co-hosting the new BBC flagship podcast, Sidetracked, alongside my friend @grimmers. Anything interesting, funny, remarkable or terrible in the world of music will be discussed. As Grimmy said, “it will be like Newsnight with a donk on it.”

Giving out their honest opinions and recollections, Macmanus and Grimshaw will be joined by artists, friends, industry experts and listeners on the podcast.
Macmanus hosted the Radio One’s Dance Party for the BBC until 2021 and currently hosts the podcast Changes With Annie Macmanus, where she has spoken to celebrities including pop star Will Young, Irish comedian Joanne McNally and documentarian Louis Theroux.
Sidetracked with Annie and Nick is a BBC Audio production for BBC Sounds and will be available weekly from September 28th.
