Louis Walsh is reportedly set to be one of the housemates in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Walsh (71) is being backed at odds of 6/1 with Boyle Sports to be the last housemate standing amid speculation he is one of the big names set to feature in the new series.
ITV has confirmed the new series is now just days away, with new hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best set to reveal the new cohort of famous faces during the live launch show on Monday.
The Mayo-born music mogul has long been rumoured as one of the housemates.
Despite the best efforts from TV bosses to keep the identity of the new housemates under wraps, it has been strongly rumoured the former X factor judge will be joined by the likes of Dragons Den entrepreneur Levi Roots, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu, and former This Morning host Fern Brittan.
ITV insists rumours surrounding the line-up are pure speculation. However, it is also believed Sharon Osbourne has also signed up.
A number of newspapers in the UK have reported Walsh insisted on his friend Osbourne featuring as a condition for signing up to the show.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for Boyle Sports, said: “Louis Walsh has topped the rumour list for some time and if he lands in the Big Brother house next week, we reckon he’ll have enough of the X Factor to go the distance.”
