Kicking things off is Lil Baby, who will release his fourth studio album WHAM (Who Hard as Me) on January 3rd.

The rap album is expected to feature guest appearances from 21 Savage, Future, Glorilla, Rod Wave, Rylo Rodriguez, Travis Scott, and Young Thug.

January 5th

Bad Bunny

DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, the sixth studio album from Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny, will be released on January 5th.

Translating to I Should Have Taken More Photos, the album was announced on December 26th, 2024.

Two singles have been released - 'El Clúb' and 'Pitorro de Coco'.

January 8th

Ethel Cain

On January 8th, American singer-songwriter Ethel Cain will release her second album Perverts, marking her first release since her 2022 album Preacher's Daughter.

The album's lead single 'Punish' preceded the project on November 1st, 2024.

January 10th

Franz Ferdinand

Scottish rock band Franz Ferdinand will release their sixth album, The Human Fear, on January 10th.

It will be the band's first studio album with drummer Audrey Tait, who replaced original member Paul Thomson in 2021.

The album's title refers to the album's primary theme of fear and "searching for the thrill of being human via fears", as described by band frontman Alex Kapranos.

Ringo Starr

In October, Beatles star Ringo Starr announced that he would release a country album on January 10th.

Look Up will feature 11 original songs recorded this year in Nashville and Los Angeles. The track 'Time On My Hands' was released at the same time as the album announcement.

The album will be Starr's first full-length album in six years.

January 17th

Mac Miller

American rapper Mac Miller's second posthumous album Balloonerism will be released on January 17th.

It will be Miller's seventh album and was recorded between 2013 and 2014, around the time his mixtape Faces was released.

Miller's estate released a statement that the album had great importance to Miller, and that he had commissioned artwork for the album and regularly had discussions concerning its release prior to his death.

January 24th

Central Cee

Central Cee will release his debut album Can't Rush Greatness will be released January 24th.

In an interview, the British rapper revealed that the album follows the story of his childhood after the split of his parents when he was seven years old, during which, his family was "facing real hardship".

FKA Twigs

Eusexua, FKA Twigs' third studio album, will also be released on January 24th.

It marks the British singer's first studio album in five years, following Magdalene (2019), and her first full body of work in over three years, following the mixtape Caprisongs (2022).

'Eusexua' is also the title track and lead single off the album, released September 13th.

The Weeknd

A big day in January for music, January 24th will also see The Weeknd release his sixth studio album Hurry Up Tomorrow.

The Canadian singer-songwriter's album will contain guest appearances from Playboi Carti and Anitta.

The album was supported by three singles: 'Dancing in the Flames', 'Timeless' (with Playboi Carti), and 'São Paulo' (featuring Anitta).

It will be also be supported by the upcoming psychological thriller film of the same name.
