RTÉ presenter Sinéad Kennedy revealed on social media that she and her husband Conor Kirwan are expecting their first child together.
In an interview with Irish Country Magazine, she announced the news as part of their upcoming spring edition. She then shared the cover on her Instagram thanking all the team that helped her share her story.
In the post she said: “Had the most wonderful experience shooting this cover with @irishcountrymag. Out tomorrow... if there’s any left on the shelves after my mom buys them all!
“Thank you to the incredible team from the bottom of my heart — I’m always so uncomfortable in these scenarios, even more so this time!”
As well as hosting Winning Streak with Marty Whelan, the presenter also shares co-hosting duties on the Today show with Maura Derrane and Daithí O'Sé.
She married her partner Conor Kirwan in a ceremony in Sneem, Co Kerry, back in 2014.
