Rock band The Killers have announced two Dublin gigs for this summer as part of their upcoming tour.
The indie rock band will play the 3Arena on Friday, June 14th, and Saturday, June 15th.
The tour will follow the release of their new compilation album, Rebel Diamonds, on December 8th. They will celebrate 20 years of hit songs with the arena tour of Ireland and the UK.
The Killers recently headlined Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co Laois, while they also played gigs at Malahide Castle in 2022.
Formed in Las Vegas in 2001 by Brandon Flowers and Dave Keuning, The Killers still boast a large global fanbase.
Rebel Diamonds is an album of highlights featuring 20 tracks, including hits Mr Brightside, When You Were Young, All These Things That I’ve Done, Human, Read My Mind, The Man and more, through to the band’s most recently released single, Your Side of Town, and one new anthem, Spirit.
“See it’s been said that what’s remembered lives,” lead singer Brandon Flowers said in the preview video for the record, “and we’ve racked up stadiums full of memories the past twenty years, enough to fill lifetimes. Twenty songs for twenty years – Rebel Diamonds.”
Tickets for the Rebel Diamonds Tour go on sale at 9.30am on Friday, December 8th, from Ticketmaster.ie coinciding with the release of the album.
