Its's a big weekend in both football and hurling championships this weekend, as several sides get their championship campaign underway.

In football, Kerry will get their championship campaign underway on Saturday against Tipperary in the Munster semi-final. They will play the winners of Clare v Limerick, who go into battle later that evening.

After their dramatic win over Leitrim, New York will be hoping for another scalp when they travel to Sligo, with a place in the Connacht final, and the All-Ireland series at stake for the winners.

In the Ulster championship, Armagh travels to Cavan in what's sure to be a competitive quarter-final. Donegal will be hoping to put their league issues behind them when they face Down

On Sunday, Dublin get their championship campaign underway when they travel to Laois in the Leinster quarter-final. After a strong league campaign, Louth play Taltain Cup winners Westmeath.

In hurling, Limerick will start the defence of their All-Ireland title when they travel to Waterford on Sunday in the opening round of the Munster championship.

The other game in Munster will see Waterford host Tipperary.

In the Leinster championship, Galway will host Wexford, with Kilkenny host Westmeath and Antrim take on Dublin.
