Body of man discovered after apparent accidental shooting in Dublin

The body of a man in his 50s has been discovered at a shooting range in Swords in Dublin.

Gardaí attended an incident at the range in Balheary yesterday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out but it is believed to be a tragic accident.

Should third-party involvement be ruled out, the case will go to the coroner where an inquest would take place.
