An apartment block in Tallaght in Dublin had to be evacuated last night due to a fire.
Shortly after 7pm yesterday evening three units from Dublin Fire Brigade attended the blaze in the Belgard Square area of Tallaght.
Residents were quickly evacuated while firefighters tended to the fire.

Members of the fire brigade entered the underground car park and found a vehicle which had reached a temperature of around 500 degrees.
Visibility was severely impacted as and smoke had filled the car park.
There were no injuries reported and the scene was handed over to Gardaí where an investigation is ongoing.
