The ball python, that's normally found in Africa, was discovered among plants in Doug Keatinge's garden.
Panic
Taking to Twitter for help, Mr Keatinge captioned a picture of the snake: "Snake in my garden. Panic! What to do?"

I thought 'Jesus, there's a snake on the loose'.
Mr Keatinge revealed he initially believed his children were playing a prank on him when they spotted the animal.
"I went out to have a look, I was a bit alarmed because suddenly there was no snake there," he said. "I thought 'Jesus, there's a snake on the loose'. I then found it three or four feet away in a flower bed."
He subsequently discovered it was his neighbour's pet and the python had been missing for a month. The pet reptile, named Mona Lisa, has now been reunited with its owners.
