A dry weekend in store for the 75,000 music fans at Electric Picnic as it officially kicked off on Friday evening.
Gerry Cinnamon and Noah Kahan are the headline acts tonight.
Calvin Harris and Kylie will take to the main stage in Stradbally later this weekend.
Highs of 19 degrees are forecast at times. However, speaking to Newstalk, Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather warns the temperatures will dip in the evenings:
"It will still be cool at nighttime, and it was quite cool on Thursday night. It got down below 5 degrees.
"It will probably be around 9 or 10 degrees, so a little bit chilly for the campers. Other than that, it is really going to be perfect over the weekend.
"There will be a nice breeze but no real strong winds."
Met Éireann are forecasting that Saturday will bring variable cloud amounts & some sunshine.
There will be a few showers in the mix too, especially in parts of the west and north, but most places will stay dry.
Highs of 16 to 19 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds
