A Galway player has scooped an eye-watering €7,028,440 million jackpot in Wednesday night's Lotto draw.
The Tribesman winner becomes the 10th Lotto Jackpot winner of 2024, joining the ranks of nine other big winners from across the country, including Dublin (five), Louth, Wexford, and Limerick (two) victors earlier this year.
This latest win also makes the Galway player the 30th National Lottery millionaire of 2024.
The winning numbers in Wednesday night's main Lotto draw were: 7, 10, 12, 19, 21, 32, and the Bonus was 9.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the store location where the winning ticket was purchased will be announced on Friday.
Meanwhile, the National Lottery has announced a EuroMillions event on Friday, where 100 new millionaires are guaranteed across the nine participating countries. Each of the winners will receive €1 million in a special EuroMillions raffle draw.
The participating countries include Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK, all gearing up for the excitement.
Every player who buys a ticket for Friday’s EuroMillions draw will receive a unique raffle code for each line played, automatically entering them into this extraordinary raffle that promises to create 100 brand-new millionaires.
