Gardaí are appeal for witnesses following an alleged assault in Dublin on Friday.
The incident is said to have taken place on Bath Road in Balbriggan shortly after 6pm on January 15th, when a woman in her 20s was walking through a tunnel next to a sports pitch in the area.
The woman was approach from behind by three male youths and was pushed to the ground before being kicked a number of times.
One of the males is believed to have used a blade during the assault, cutting through some of the woman's clothing and causing a minor wound to her leg according to Gardaí.
No arrests have yet been made in relation to the incident and investigation are ongoing.
