Gardaí have appealed for the owners of two cars which were at a nearby filling station around the time a fatal road traffic collision occurred in Donegal to come forward.
The two cars were in the forecourt of a filling station around 100 metres from where the collision happened.
Three men died in a two-car collision on the N15 at Liscooley, near Castlefinn, at around 10pm on Friday, November 22nd 2024.
The two male occupants (30s) of one of the cars were fatally injured in the crash, and the male occupant of the second car (70s) subsequently died in hospital.
One of the vehicles which gardaí wish to identify the owner of, believed to be a dark Skoda or Audi estate, left the filling station and turned towards Castlefin. The second car, a dark SUV, possibly a Toyota, left the filling station soon after.
Neither vehicle was involved in the collision, and gardaí said in a statement that the owners may have valuable information to share.
Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, and anyone who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and was travelling in the area of the crash at the time, is asked to make it available to gardaí.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 916 7100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
