606 admitted patients were waiting for beds on Monday morning, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).

The INMO trolley watch showed that 408 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while 198 waited in wards elsewhere in hospitals.

108 admitted patients were waiting at University Hospital Limerick. 52 were waiting in the emergency department, while 56 were waiting on beds in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

At Cork University Hospital, 55 admitted patients were waiting for beds.

41 were waiting at Portiuncula Hospital, 37 at Mayo University Hospital, and 31 at Tipperary University Hospital.

At Tallaght University Hospital, 25 admitted patients were waiting for beds, while 24 waited at St Vincent's University Hospital and 21 waited at Naas General Hospital.
