The latest figures from the Irish Midwives and Nurses Organisation (INMO) show there is 375 patients waiting for beds in Irish hospitals.
262 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 113 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

The hospital with the highest amount of patients waiting for beds is University Hospital Limerick, with 76 people waiting for a bed.
17 people are in the emergency department, with 59 people in the hospital elsewhere.
46 people are waiting for beds in Cork University Hospital, with 39 patients in the emergency department.
In University Hospital Galway, 45 people are waiting for a bed, with 36 patients in the emergency deparetment.
