420 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 147 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

The hospital with the most patients waiting for a bed is University Hospital Limerick, with 97 people on trolleys.
43 patients are in the emergency room, with 57 people elsewhere in the hospital.
Cork University Hospital has 78 patients waiting for a bed, with 66 of those in the emergency department.
At University Hospital Galway, there is 68 patients waiting for a bed, with 51 people in the emergency department.
