The June tourism dashboard showed 669,500 international visitors to Ireland in June, spending €684 million in the month.
The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation’s latest monthly tourism dashboard showed that international visitor numbers were up eight per cent for June compared to the same month last year, despite the British source market being flat.
North America was the most valuable market in June, accounting for 41 per cent of the €684 million spend.
The length of visitors' stays remained unchanged, averaging at 7.3 nights per visitor, while 46 per cent of the visitors came for holiday and leisure reasons.
