The Minister of State for Sport has confirmed full panels will be permitted to attend All-Ireland finals due to be held in December.
Earlier today, Minister for State for Skills and Further Education Niall Collins called for the number of players allowed at matches to be extended after his native Limerick earned their place in this year's All-Ireland Senior Hurling final.
Previously, only 40 players could attend on match day, drawing criticism from Limerick manager John Kiely when members of his squad were forced to watch the county's Munster final win from home.
Fianna Fáil TD Jack Chambers has since tweeted to confirm that full panels will be permitted to attend after the country moves to Level 3 restrictions tomorrow.

Over the weekend, Waterford saw off Kilkenny to set up their clash with the Shannonsiders, due to be played on December 13th, while Kilkenny and Galway will meet in the Camogie decider on December 12th.
The Football semi-finals will be played off this weekend, with the final set for the 19th, while Dublin wait to learn their opponents for the All-Ireland Ladies' Football final on December 20th.
Under Level 3 measures of the Government's Living with Covid plan, no fans are permitted to attend sporting events, with the Taoiseach confirming on Friday that no consideration had been given to allowing crowds to attend this year's All-Ireland finals.
