A man has died in a three-car motorway crash in Co Galway.
The incident took place at the intersection of the M6 and M17 shortly before 1pm on Thursday.

The man, aged in his 80s, was the driver of one of the cars. His passenger, a woman also in her 80s, was taken to Galway University Hospital with serious injuries.
The women driving the other two cars were aged in their 20s and 60s. They have been brought to Galway University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road has since reopened. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward by contacting Galway Garda station on 091 538000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
