A man in his 20s has died after a road traffic collision near Ballinaclash, Co Wicklow on Thursday morning.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the two car collision that occurred on the R753 between Ballinaclash and Aughrim at around 8.35am on Thursday, September 26th.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 20s, was seriously injured and brought to St Vincent's University Hosptial Dublin. He has since died from his injuries.
A passenger in the other vehicle, a female child, was brought to Children's Health Ireland, Crumlin, as a precaution.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the collision to come forward, and any road users who may have camera footage, including dash cam, and were travelling in the area at the time of the incident, are asked to make the footage available to investigating gardaí.
