Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after the death of a man who was found with serious injuries at a Dublin apartment over the weekend.
The fatal assault is understood to have happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers were alerted to reports of a man in his 30s with serious injuries at an apartment in Lucan at about 3am on Sunday.
He was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for treatment, where he died on Sunday evening.
The man travelled in a taxi from the Allenton area in Tallaght to an address in the Shackleton area of Lucan in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to gardaí.
