A man in his 50s died after a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Co Wexford on Saturday, March 15th.
The collision involving a motorcycle occurred at around 6.50pm near Taghmon on a local road at Poulpeasty.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has since been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination is due to take place.
There were no other injuries reported.
The road remains closed on Sunday morning to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to the collision to come forward. Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash cam, and were travelling in the area between 6pm and 7pm are asked to make the footage available to investigating gardaí.
