A man arrested in connection with a hit-and-run in Co Limerick on Monday has now been charged.

The incident took place on the Ballinacurra Road at approximately 11.20pm on March 8th.
A pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was injured in the collision and the car failed to remain at the scene.
The man, also aged in his 20s, was arrested by gardaí earlier today and is due to appear before Limerick District Court on Thursday morning.
The pedestrian remains in a critical condition in University Hospital Limerick.
