Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Relation To Belfast Stabbing

A man has been charged with attempted murder in relation to a stabbing in north Belfast on Friday.

The man, aged 25, has also been charged with aggravated burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service as is usual procedure.

Police are continuing to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information which might assist, to get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference number 359 23/08/24, through the PSNI website or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously.
