He was driving a truck which crashed on the R155 in Ratoath shortly before midday.
The man in his 50s was the only person in the truck.

He was brought to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown in Dublin where he was pronounced dead.
The road remains closed for a technical examination and gardai are appealing for witnesses.
