A man (30s) is in a serious but stable condition after being injured in a serious assault on Talbot St in Dublin 1 early on Sunday morning.
Shortly after 1am on Sunday, October 6th, the man was assaulted and brought to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
A technical examination of the scene has since been conducted and investigations are ongoing.
An Garda Síochána have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Any road users and pedestrians who may have camera footage, including dash cam, from the Talbot St area between 12.30am and 1.30am are asked to make the footage available to gardaí.
