94 admitted patients were waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick on Wednesday morning, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).
36 are waiting in the emergency department while 58 wait in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
According to INMO's Trolley Watch, 440 admitted patients in total were waiting for beds in Irish hospitals on Wednesday morning, with 309 patients waiting in the emergency department and 131 in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
At University Hospital Galway, 40 patients are waiting for beds, with 31 in the emergency department.
In Cork, 32 patients are waiting for beds in Cork University Hospital, all in the emergency department.
28 patients are waiting for beds at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, all of whom are in the emergency department.
At Letterkenny University Hospital, 25 patients are waiting for beds, while 21 patients wait at Cavan General Hospital.
22 are waiting in the emergency department at St Vincent's University Hospital.
