Some homes and businesses have suffered flooding in recent days despite efforts to hold back the water with sandbags.
Cork's Fire Service and roads department have been working to maintain access to submerged routes.
⚠️Motorists are advised to drive with caution during heavy rain and not to drive through flood waters. Property owners are advised to take precautions in low lying areas or areas susceptible to flooding.

Local councillor Declan Hurley said the extent of the damage is still not known and advised drivers encountering flooding in the area to "turn around and find another route".
"You don't know if the road surface has been washed away, how deep [the flood water] is and unfortunately we've seen loss of life before in similar situations," he said.
"Streams and rivers are in full flood and if you get caught in a current you would get washed away."
