With talks of a general election ramping up as of late, there are numerous dates on which it could be held.
The Taoiseach said on Tuesday that he likes "elections on a Friday," indicating that will be the day an election takes place.

Coalition leaders met on Monday night and formally decided that the election would be held in 2024, but with nobody wanting to go to the polls too close to Christmas, there are only a few dates left where an election could take place.
As Green Party leader Roderic O'Gorman suggested last week, November 29th is his preferred general election date, but that is not the only option.
The Government still have to get the Finance Bill passed, and have their Halloween recess from this Friday until November 4th. The Finance Bill is due before the finance committee in two weeks time, so it could be passed in full then, allowing a general election to be called at any time.
If the election is delayed a week from O'Gorman's preference of November 29th, then it will be held on December 6th – clashing with the Late Late Toy Show, which may not work for many.
Regardless, though, an election must be called within 30 days of the Dáil being dissolved.
