Rail services between Drogheda and Balbriggan have been disrupted on Thursday following a "tragic incident" on the line.
Irish Rail confirmed shortly after midday that services are suspended between the two stations, with bus transfers operating instead.

Services between Connolly and Balbriggan remain in operation.
Irish Rail apologised for the disruption, and is providing updates on the impacted services on X, formerly Twitter.
The most recent update, posted at 2.17pm confirmed the line remains closed between Drogheda and Balbriggan.
