A second man has been arrested in connection with an incident in Dublin on Monday night in which a man was killed.
Ionel Nicolae Diaconu (45) died following the incident at a residence in the Castle Park area of Tallaght shortly before 9pm on Monday.
A 19-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in the Dublin region.
In an update on Tuesday evening, Gardaí confirmed a second man was arrested in connection with the incident on Tuesday and has been detained under the same piece of legislation.
A post-mortem examination on the deceased's body has been carried out by State Pathologist Dr Linda Mulligan, the results of which are not being released for operational reasons, Gardaí said.
