A man in his 20s has died from his injuries after a fatal road traffic collision in Donegal on Saturday.

The collision occured on the R240 at Cross, Quigley's Point at 11.15pm.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, where he passed away from his injuries on Tuesday.

The passenger, a male in his teens, also died in the collision.

Gardaí continue to appeal for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
