Seven men and a teenager have been arrested after a woman was violently attacked in an apartment in Dublin.
Gardaí have launched an investigation after the woman, in her 30s, was allegedly falsely imprisoned in the property in Bolton Street on Thursday evening.

The seven men, aged in their 20s, 30s and 50s, and the teenager have been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Garda stations in the Dublin region.
Investigations are continuing, and the woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries.
Gardaí were searching for drugs in the area when they found the woman with a litany of injuries, including burns and suspected broken bones, according to The Irish Times.
