One teenager has died and another is seriously injured following a knife attack at East Wall, Dublin 3 last night.
Gardaí are investigating all circumstances surrounding the fatal assault and subsequent incidents.
At approximately 9.20pm, gardaí received reports of a public order incident occurring on East Road, East Wall.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene and two teenage boys were taken to the Mater Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. One of them was subsequently pronounced dead in the Mater Hospital.
A third male has since presented to the Mater Hospital to be treated for injuries.
